Job Details

To provide meal services to all visitors and patients of Cape Cod Hospital.
  • Slices meats and cheeses; prepares and assembles foods including but not limited to fruits, salad type vegetables, salad mixes (veg. & meat), between meal nourishments, tube feedings, gelatins, salads, sandwiches, juices, coffee for the Nutrition & Food Service facilities.
  • Services patient meals including between meal snacks, tube feedings, floor kitchenette stock and sanitation, delivering patient meals, collecting patient trays from patient floors, preparing and assembling cold foods, assembling patient trays and hot and cold beverages.
  • Services the cafeteria including all aspects of the service areas including grill and cashiering.
  • Works in the dish room.
  • Washes, rinses and sanitizes pots and pans, equipment, floors, walls, and storage areas.
  • Removal of trash, garbage, cardboard, milk & bread crates.
  • Delivers and picks up patient meal trays for Cape Psych Center.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with hospital, local and regulatory standards.
  • Performs other work related duties and activities as assigned or requested

  • Ability to read write and communication in English
  • Operate the cash registers with ability to make change

Schedule Details: 12 hours per week, 4p-8p, rotating days, every other weekend, rotating holidays
